The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year or the Spring Festival, is the most important traditional holiday in Chinese culture. The Chinese New Year is a celebration deeply rooted in cultural traditions and specific customs, reflecting the spiritual wealth and cultural identity of the Chinese people.
The Year of the Wood Snake in 2025, which begins on January 29, is expected to be a period marked by reflection and evolution, as the Snake, the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac, symbolizes wisdom, intuition and strategic thinking.
The Confucius Institute of the “Lucian Blaga” University in Sibiu invites you to celebrate the Spring Festival and the beginning of the Wood Snake Year through a series of online events organized on January 28, 2025, at 8:00 PM (on the VooV platform).
